Victoria University Australia Scholarship 2027 | Fully Funded Research Opportunity

The Victoria University International Research Scholarships provide full funding for eligible Master’s and Doctoral students, covering tuition fees, health insurance, and a living stipend of up to $35,707 per year.

Eligibility

To be considered for the Victoria University RTP Scholarship, you must:

Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
meet the University’s academic entrance requirements for enrolment into a research degree
meet the University’s English-language proficiency requirements for enrolment in a research degree

Applicants for a RTP Stipend Scholarship – International must also:

Have a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) or an Honours year grade of H1, equivalent to a VU standard of 85% or higher, in their most recent eligible qualification.
Be commencing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) research degree.
nominate a research-focus outline as part of your application
enrol as a full-time student.

Priority will be given to applicants who:

Applicants must not already hold a PhD or equivalent qualification if they are applying to undertake another doctoral degree.
Applicants must not have previously been awarded an IPRS, VUIPRS, or OPRS, except where the previous scholarship was for a Master of Research and the applicant is now applying for PhD studies.
